The Lenape Chamber Ensemble performs in the Life Sciences Building of Delaware Valley University. The University’s address is 700 E. Butler Avenue, Doylestown, however as you approach that address it is best to locate New Britain Road on your GPS so you enter the campus at the nearest point to the Life Sciences Building.
Once on New Britain Road turn right onto Admissions Drive, then right into Parking Lot C. The Life Sciences Building faces Parking Lot C. Parking is free and there are some (H) marked spaces. At the top right corner of Parking Lot C there is a ramp for wheelchairs and walkers, which leads to the front doors of the Life Sciences Building. There are also wide steps descending to the front doors.
From Philadelphia – Take Rte. 309 North to Business Rte. 202 at Montgomeryville (five points). Go approximately 6.5 miles north on Business Rte. 202, past Rte. 152 and past the traffic light at Iron Hill Rd., which is the Main Entrance to the University. Continue on Rte. 202 to the next traffic light at New Britain Rd. Turn right onto New Britain Rd, take the first right onto Admissions Drive, and right into Parking Lot C, which faces the Life Sciences Building.
Going north or south on Rte. 611 – Take Rte. 611 at Doylestown to the State Street exit, which is State Street and East Butler Avenue (Business Rte. 202 south). Follow signs for the University. Turn left at the traffic light at New Britain Rd., then turn the first right onto Admissions Drive and right into Parking Lot C, which faces the Life Sciences Building.
Parking is free at DelVal and there are several lots across the campus from the Life Sciences Building. Special parking for seniors and those needing assistance is available behind the Life Sciences Building and is reached by entering the Main Entrance from East Butler Avenue and turning left onto Student Center Drive. SEPTA service is available from Philadelphia to Doylestown on the Lansdale/Doylestown line with a stop, on certain trains, on the campus at the far end of Campus Loop Drive. Check SEPTA schedules for trains that stop here.
Inside the Life Sciences Building
Once inside the doors you will be in a large air-conditioned lobby with seating and restrooms nearby. Our ticket desk is in the lobby and you may pay for tickets there and then have a seat if the doors into the concert hall have not yet been opened.
There is optional (H) parking behind the Life Sciences Building on the level with the floor, so there are no steps or ramps to enter the back of the building. To find that parking, enter the campus through the Main Entrance at the traffic light at Iron Hill Road and shortly after turn left onto Student Center Drive. The Drive leads past the Student Center, through the parking lot and terminates at the faculty lot at the side entrance to the Life Sciences Building.

From Eastern Montgomery County – Go north on Rte. 309, then take Rte. 202 North. At Doylestown, go north on Rte. 611 to Pipersville. Turn right at Deep Run Road. Go left at the stop sign. At the Piper Tavern go straight onto Dark Hollow Road and continue to the Delaware River. Turn left (North) onto Rte.32 (River Road). One mile beyond the Frenchtown Bridge, turn left onto Jugtown Hill Road. Turn left at the top of the hill onto Upper Tinicum Church Road. The Church is on the left.
From Philadelphia – Take I-95 North. Cross the Delaware River and exit immediately onto Rte. 29 North toward Lambertville, NJ. Continue north on Rte. 29 to Frenchtown. Turn left and cross the bridge into Pennsylvania. Turn right on River Road (Rte. 32) and proceed one mile north to Jugtown Hill Road. Turn left at the top of the hill onto Upper Tinicum Church Road. The Church is on the left.
From New Hope – Go north on Rte. 32. One mile past the Frenchtown Bridge turn left onto Jugtown Hill Rd. Turn left at the top of the hill onto Upper Tinicum Church Rd. The Church is on the left.
From Easton -Turn right at Jugtown Hill Road, 2.2 miles south of the Upper Black Eddy Bridge on Rte. 32 (River Road).
